{WoodWick candle in Vanilla Bourbon, $19.99}
Here, take a listen:
This audio is a bit misleading, making it sound much louder than it actually is, but still, pretty cool, right?? The wick is actually made of wood! Being an apartment dweller, fireplaces are few and far between, but I like this as a substitute for the soothing crackle of a fireplace.
I went with vanilla bourbon, 'cus normally that's pretty up my alley. It has a really large reach and has made our whole apartment smell like things that remind you of your rich grandfather's house (or that creepy neighbor who spends way too much time at the playground)--booze and candy. I've been lighting the candle almost every night for several hours at a time, and I'm still not even halfway through it, so it has an incredibly long burn time.
Also cool about WoodWick is that the candles are made in Virginia, so they're local, which I feel pretty good about.
Anyone else tried a WoodWick candle? What did you think?

Hi love. Me again. :) Brian got me one of those for xmas and I loved it! There is something nostalgic about it. The only thing that was a minor downfall was kinda towards the middle of the candle being burned it starts to get smokey, like legit black smoke from a fireplace, but not as intense. Who knows though, I might have had a defected candle. I loved it though, but Brian had black boogers from it. TMI? :)
These candles are my favorite! I love the scent Fireside because with the sound and smell it makes me feel like I'm sitting by a fire!
My favorite candle in the world is the caramel one from Woodwick. My last home is actually in their catalog! One of my friends works for them as a photographer and asked if they could use my old loft in Roanoke as a set. I got so much free shit. Photographers really love brick walls.

Normally I don't annoy people with chain things but I'd love to read your responses because they'd be pretty damn funny.
I need!
Wow, that's pretty awesome. Although, your weather is much more spring like, I think I could use it more than you.
