Don't get it twisted--Gaga is still my number one "things-that-start-with-the-letter-G" obsession:

But Fox's runaway hit Glee is inching in as my second favorite, followed, of course by Guidettes (Snookie has single-handedly taken my favorite hobby of grooming to a-whole-nother level).

Now, up until last night, my old and new obsessions had yet to truly collide, but when they finally did, well, I'm pretty sure the heavens opened and the angels shed a single tear. In a word, it was magical.

Honestly, it would be weird if you DIDN'T ask yourself "what the hell is going on?" It's a burger...holding hands with a cupcake! It's the food equivalent of Richard Simmons dating,oh  I dunno, anything that's not a farm animal. 

I mean, hey, I get it...but I recognize that owning 3 cupcake costumes (2 store bought, 1 that I crocheted. No big.) and a Cherry-on-top hat isn't a staple in most people's wardrobe. So it's reasonable that such deprived peasants would be curious to understand the scenario being presented in this image. For that, I say get thee to the Fox website to watch last night's episode, 'cus Mama's got better things to do than explain that to you, like one-armed handstand push-ups. I can basically do 100. Impressive? Yeah, it is.

My point is that that if you're not watching Glee, you should be. And if you're not eating cupcakes, you can at least dress like one. 

Free Cupcakes for Gay Marriage

Generally, I prefer to avoid anything related to political causes, human rights, or caring about people other than myself, period. It takes away from the time I could be spending staring at myself in the mirror. But tomorrow, DC's Superior Court will be officiating same-sex marriages and I'd be a terrible Lady Gaga fan if I didn't get on board with this cause!!!!

If this weren't exciting enough news, Hello Cupcake (one of my favorites) will be giving out FREE cupcakes to the first 200 couples tying the rainbow-colored knot! 

If this doesn't move you to support same-sex marriage, then you clearly lack tastebuds. I mean, look at how those two cupcakes love each other so...LOOK AT IT!! They just want to lick the frosting right off each other, and so do you. And that's natural.

If you answered "less that $750" then, well, you clearly don't have your priorities straight. Do you know what this thing, nay, this blessing-on-Earth is made of?? Well, you got your ol' standby of 100 year-old Louis XIII de Remy Martin Cognac (you got that in your pantry, right?), Palmira Single Estate Chocolate from the rare Porcelain Crillo bean (it's an understatement to say it's an inconvenient when you run outta this), Tahita Gold Vanilla Caviar - the most labor-intensive agricultural crop in the world (wait...what?!), and edible gold flakes for good measure.

Unless you're a peasant, then you can get your hands on this fine accomplishment of man in Las Vegas, obvi, at some place called The Palazzo Resort.

Let's face facts--if you're buying this cupcake, you're probably having it flown back to you via private jet, which is being flown by your own unicorn, back to your own island, which you bought with money that has your face printed on it, because your life is basically a real-life version of Monopoly. Basically, you're Lady Gaga. And good for you.
