Our Letterpressed Save the Dates

These are our Save the Dates.
They're ridiculously beautiful and match the colors of our wedding: ivory, gold, blush, and black. They also feature a Geronimo balloon since I'm planning on having a couple for the reception.
Oh, and they're letterpressed. My friend Chris who I've known for like a million years, is a stay-at-home dad and one of the handiest people I know.

Having trouble getting your souffle to rise? Chris knows why.

Need to rebuild your car engine? Give Chris a call.

Want letterpressed invites and Save the Dates for your wedding? Chris is your man.
When I first started making wedding plans, I didn't even know where we'd get married. But one thing was certain--Chris would be making our invites through his letterpress business White Paw Press.
I knew I wanted gold ink and the balloon on them, but other than that, Chris pretty much did the rest. We went back and forth in the course of one evening with edits and finally landed on the finished product and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out!
I got a little diva with the envelopes too. Figuring my hand would be no good after addressing all the envelopes, Chris suggested putting our return address on the back flap of the envelope (it's obviously covered so my stalkers can't see it).
It was me who asked if the envelopes could have a cute liner. Since Chris can pretty much part bodies of water, he said no problem and helped me select this black polka dot lining.
If you have any special event that requires some kind of paper item, might I suggest working with Chris? I mean, if you think I'm hilarious, then...that's because you're right! Chris is just kinda funny.
Kyle & Melissa Save the Dates: probably not coming to a mailbox near most of you.
