Monday Friday Fun Find: Gold Snakeskin Sperry's

I don't think it would be completely out of line to compare me to Goldmember, the Mike Myers character from the movie of the same name. I've said "I love gooooolllllllllddddddd!" more times in my life than I could possibly remember. So when I spotted a few girls wearing gold Sperry's, I was finally willing to put aside my bias that I could never wear/own something so preppy for the sake of more opportunities to wear gold!!

I officially recant any and everything snarky I may have said or thought about boat shoes...do you even KNOW how comfortable these things are? Slipping them on the first time was akin to wearing your favorite well-broken-in house slippers. I mean, they are literally THAT comfortable.

I now need to own a pair in every color.

But if you can only have one, they may as well be gold. I mean, right??
